TGIF
another week has come to an end. aunt shazzy arrived wednesday night and is staying with us until she heads home to austin on sunday. i think we wore her out yesterday... well before what i call the post dinner crazy. squeals of excitement and half-naked running around the house, you two little birds are great at getting every last bit of energy out before bathtime. aunt shazzy isn't used to life with a toddler and preschooler. but she sure does love y'all to pieces! (and she will very much enjoy some quiet time today while the four of us are at school and work)
tonight will be pretty low key in preparation for tomorrow's birthday party (ashlynn turns 1!) and trip out to pawpaw's. no cameras on this trip. just pure country fun, just like momma had growing up. i'll keep those memories forever in my heart. playing in trailers of freshly picked cotton, riding bikes down to the barn, fishing (your momma caught the first fish outta that pond, a big ol' catfish), painting turtle shells, shucking peas, and making homemade ice cream. i'm very much looking forward to the memories y'all make out on the farm. wait, that means i need my camera!
