THE LOVER
i heard the saying "girls love their daddy's, and boys love their momma's" countless times while pregnant with cameron. that's great and all, but it seems like i'm getting the short end of the stick here. i mean, i made these two kids from s.c.r.a.t.c.h.! and i get the boy love? that's so unfair. boys are rough and tough and stinky. what do they know about being sweet and cuddly?
well, i should've known better after seeing your sweet face. my gosh, cameron, you are so incredibly adorable. and that's not just momma talking. you've managed to capture the hearts of many! i know this because we hear "he is soooo sweet" almost daily. you love being held and held close. anytime sissy is curled up on the floor (what she does when she's upset), you bend down to look at her face and give her a tender pat on the back. that started over the summer. and now, you're passing out the hugs. hugs for all! night-night hugs, feel better hugs, no reason hugs... all sweet and gentle. don't get me wrong, we're a normal family and it's not all big ol' belly laughs and high-fives, but momma certainly didn't get the short end of the stick. you and sissy have given us equally sized stick ends!
